Race

Human Humans are suitable to nearly any sort of job. They are very adaptable. This also makes them more vulnerable to physical changes. They have strong willpower, and it is common to see a human with a broken body continue to fight.

Wind Elf Wind Elves are the most common elf subrace. They are a little frail, but have good eyesight and hearing, and it is common to see them take on jobs as archers. They are typically somewhat pale with lighter hair colors.

Pure Wolf Beastkin Pure Wolfkins are strong and quick fighters. Their claw-like hands make it difficult for them to use anything that requires a precise touch, but they make excellent warriors. Their body is completely covered in soft fur, showing their pure blood.

Mountain Harpy Mountain Harpies are feathered bird-like creatures with thick feathers and fur covering their entire body. They are technically a “Pure Harpy” with the Desert Harpy being the “Impure Harpy”. They got their name due to how commonly they settle in the mountains. They are fragile beings with great agility. Their powerful wings allow them to fly and even carry others.

Unlocked by befriending Bluebell (ARPG 2-84)

Desert Harpy Desert Harpies are feathered bird-like creatures with that have human-like faces and torsos. They are technically an “Impure Harpy” with the Mountain Harpy being the “Pure Harpy”. They got their name due to how commonly they settle in the deserts. They are fragile beings with great agility. Their powerful wings allow them to fly and even carry others.

Unlocked by transformation (ARPG 2-83)

Decepio Decepio are a strange race that appear as androgynous children. Somehow, they are able to tell the gender of other Decepio. They are highly skilled in magic and small crafts, but are very frail. Their small size causes them to be preyed upon often.

*This race cannot be used for character creation. I want to avoid child-like characters appearing in lewd situations.

Unlocked by befriending Jates (ARPG 2-33)

Centaur Centaurs are a strong horse-like race. They are skilled marksmen, both with traditional archery and modern gunpowder weapons. They are also decent in melee, but their large size can make things difficult in tight spaces. They are able to travel quickly, and others are capable of riding on their backs, assuming the Centaur allows it.

Arachne Arachnes are a large spider-like race. They tend to be solitary creatures and are often subject to harsh racism. They are feared by many due to their appearance. Arachne tend to be very excellent ambushers and can often overpower other races. They have been known to also be skilled mages.

Cervidae Cervidae are somewhat uncommon tribal race of deer-people. They wear wooden masks that are rarely ever removed, so not many people know what they truly look like. Removal of one’s mask is considered a great insult, though they do remove it around those they have close relations to. They are capable of all forms of combat, but favor melee and ranged, as they are a bit more agile than the typical human.

Impure Lesser Drake Impure Lesser Drakes are a relatively common race of dragon-like people. They’re mostly found in the Grental Empire, though are also seen amongst the Sidol Alliance. They are a large and physically powerful race with scales covering portions of their body. They tend to have rather aggressive personalities, but as with any race, they can behave quite uniquely from person to person. They’re capable of many forms of combat, though most favor frontline melee roles, though they are also many talented Drake mages.

Impure Feline Impure Felines are a somewhat common race of cat-like people. They are found all across the world, and are often well-liked. They are agile and nimble, and often make good lightweight fighters. They are often seen as a bit lazy though. However, there are many who work diligently. They often take roles as archers or rogues, but can make for good warriors as well.

Job

Adventurer Adventurers are the jack of all trades. They know a little of everything and learn quickly, but suffer from poor starting stats. Adventurers are well known for getting into trouble and often times, not getting out alive. They start equipped with some light armor, a short sword, and a shield.

Warrior Warriors are strong melee fighters. They are skilled in all melee weapon types. They are capable of ranged combat with some practice, but have almost no skill in magic. They start equipped with some heavy armor and a greataxe.

Unlocked after first ARPG series

Mage Mages are strong magic users with no real specialty. They are somewhat skilled in most magic types. They hit hard with spells, but are very frail and weak in physical combat. They start equipped with some cloth armor and a staff.

Unlocked after first ARPG series

Cleric Clerics are mages who focus on Divine and Occult spells. They focus primarily on supportive spells, but can also perform spells of other schools. They are excellent when with allies, but suffer from poor damage output. They start equipped with some medium armor, a mace, and a shield.

Unlocked after first ARPG series

Rogue Rogues are sneaky fighters. They are skilled in both melee and ranged combat, though mostly with lighter weapons. They are somewhat frail and rely on dodging attacks, but are capable of high physical damage. They are also useful for lock-picking and avoiding traps. They start equipped with some light armor and two daggers.

Unlocked after first ARPG series

Ranger Rangers are skilled marksmen with traditional bow-type weapons. They are mostly skilled with bows and crossbows, but have decent skill in gunpowder weapons as well. While skilled in ranged combat, they perform poorly in melee. They start equipped with some light armor and a shortbow.

Unlocked by befriending Amelia (ARPG 1-4)

Bandit Bandits are rough fighters on the wrong side of the law. They are decent in both ranged and melee combat, but have no magic skill. While they begin with good stats and equipment, they also start with a bounty. They start equipped with some light armor, an axe, and a shortbow. They also start with some extra gold.

Starting Location

Grand Citadel of Mesai The capital city of the Mesai Kingdom. The city is well-balanced in all commodities. The city features a large market, some mercenary companies, and a mages guild. The city is primarily made up of human and elf races. There is some racism against beastkins here.
New Grental Tower The capital city of the New Grental Empire. The city is focused on magic. The city features a small market and a large mages guild. The city is primarily made up of beastkin races. There is some racism against humans and elves here.
Erada City The capital city of the Sidol Alliance. The city is focused on trade and technology. The city features a large market and many craftsman guilds. The city is a melting pot of all races. There is little to no racism here.
